Forbes Kennedy was a member of the Flyers in their inaugural 1967-68 season. He was picked with the 87th pick in the Expansion Draft. Despite his small frame he was often the toughest and usually the grittiest player on the ice, making him a fan favorite in his 2 seasons with the Flyers. In the first Flyers season he led the team in penalty minutes and was the first Flyer to ever get suspended.
