Mikael Renberg

Mikael Renberg was drafted 40th overall in the 1990 NHL Draft by the Flyers. He played in the NHL for 10 seasons; parts of 6 with the Flyers (1993-97, 1998-2000). He set the Flyers' club record for most points in a season scored by a rookie with 82 points (38 goals and 44 assists) in 83 games. Renberg became popular with fans for playing on the formidable "Legion of Doom" line with John LeClair and Eric Lindros. In 1995 he was awarded the Viking Award for the Top Swedish player in the NHL.
